"Sounds Like Love"
It's time I write about some music! Mmmhmm. I know what ya' thinkin'. You're thinking "Where's Ped. Lic. 8?" Well, Teddy! and I tried to record on Saturday night when we were bombarded by interruptions creating a completely unsalvageable podcast. So, with that said, we'll get our shite together and record something steady and pleasant for you to giggle at pretty soon! Perhaps sooner than you think. Now on to some education.
Logan Lynn "From Pillar To Post"

Logan Lynn. That's a name you'll be seeing a lot in the near future. This Portland-based artist has recently completed a beautifully layered orchestration soon to be available for your hungry ears. There's a duality to the general sound of the album, as a lot of it is dark, but at the same time colorful and melodic. Excellent production by Carlos Cortes of Assemble the Empire, and beautiful delivery by Logan Lynn. He tends to swim through the many layers of this delicious musical cake. Yeah, I said it! The album will be released later this year, and I will definitely be updating you on that. In the meantime, listen to "Burning Your Glory" below — my personal favorite, and a video of "Feed Me To The Wolves" for your enjoyment.
Logan Lynn - Burning Your Glory from upcoming album "From Pillar To Post"
Listen to the album version of this song on Logan Lynn's MySpace page. It's magical!
Fun Fact: Carlos Cortes is currently working on the "Mind Traffic" EP with me. It's gonna' be great. We promise.
Jade "It's My Heart, Cookie"

Since its release on April 1st as a free download on Jade's MySpace page, "It's My Heart, Cookie" has been finding a new home inside many people's mp3 players. It surely has in mine! It's no surprise when you give her EP a first listen. She has a very distinct, pleasant voice, and her musical style is a sweet blend of R&B, Pop, and Rock. Tastes like black tea with milk and 3 sugars. Check out her promo video below, and do download the EP. It's FREE!
Fun Fact: Jade attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School (yes, the FAME school) like me. Except I was an art major. Bet you didn't know THAT!
Dan Black "Winter"

The mention of this album is long overdue. Teddy! and I always talk about it, but I somehow never wrote about it. So here it is. Dan Black's "Winter". I've been listening to this album for quite some time now, as its release was in 2005. You can currently buy it from iTunes or CD Baby. It's well worth the purchase! The whole album is Dan's interpretation of Winter through instrumentals which produce digital love. Drink Hot Cocoa below. Mmmmmmmmmm.
Dan Black - Hot Cocoa from the album called "Winter"
Fun Fact: Dan Black lives in my building, and just yesterday I bumped into him and told him I'd be writing a blog about this album soon. He said "If you're going to do that, why don't you wait for the new one, then?" Sorry, Dan. I had to show "Winter" some real attention on this blog.
-In Conclusion-
To conclude this here blog about music, I wanted to share some 8 bit love with you. Check out these songs from Radiohead's "In Rainbows" converted into 8 bit instrumentals. Man, these make me wanna' play that Radiohead game that doesn't exist. Sooooo goooood! Enjoy!

I don't know why this one makes me feel like playing Kid Icarus on Nintendo, but I love it!

Anyway, Dan Black is nice. I'll have to check out s'more of his material in the future. Also, I thought of the 90's girl group when I saw the name 'Jade.' I was like "Holy shit, they're back?!"
And yeah. My motherfuckin' PedLic. Keep gettin' on that. >\
